Australia in Eurovision Fan Contest


Australia has participated in Eurovision Fan Contest 10 times since their debut in Autumn 2013. The broadcaster of Australia, SBS, has been the organiser of the Australian entry every since the country's debut in the contest and has used an internal selection to select the entries of Australia.

 

In Autumn 2013, Australia's first entry at Eurovision Fan Contest, Timomatic, finished sixteenth in the final. This remained the country's best result until August 2015, when Samantha Jade won in the Grand Final with her song "Soldier", gathering 214 points. Australia has also achieved a new record: two consequtive wins. Their second victory was in September 2015, when Delta Goodrem and her song "Wings" won in Australian ground, gathering 175 points. Australia's worst result is nineteenth in the semi-final, manage by Kylie Minogue and her song "Get Outta My Way".
