Eurovision Fan Contest - August 2015
Eurovision Fan Contest - August 2015 will be the 16th edition of EFC that will be held in Greece following the third victory of Helena Paparizou in July 2015 with the song "Otan Aggeli Klene (Angel)". It will be the second time Greece will host the contest. The two semi-finals will be held in 9 and 16 August, and the Grand Final in 23 August 2015. The three shows will be hosted by two famous actors, Andreas Georgiou and Eleni Vaitsou.
Fifty-four countries confirmed their participation in the contest, with Ethiopia and Isle Of Man debuting, and Andorra, Azerbaijan, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Colombia, Cyprus, Faroe
Islands, Hungary, Japan, North Korea, San Marino, Switzerland and Turkey returning. Brazil, Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago have withdrawn from this edition.
Location
On August 1, it was confirmed that the city that would host the August edition would be Chania, in Greece. Once again, no bidding phase was held.
Format
The competition will consist of two semi-finals and a final, a format which has been in use since the first edition in July. The ten countries with the highest scores in each semi-final will
qualify to the final where they will join the host nation Greece. The consition of the Big Five will be changed and will be based on this format: the top three of the last edition (host nation +
second and third placers of last edition), and three most successful countries. Based on this format, the big 6 is:

Semi-Final Allocation Draw
The draw that will determine the semi-final allocation will be held on 6 August 2015. The semi-finalists will be divided into six pots.

On 30 July 2015, the slogan for the Augst 2015 Contest was revealed to be "Brothers". The theme utilises abstract neon bubbles and the slogan symbolizes the unity of all the people around the
planet have, making each other brothers.
Presenters
On August 1, the executive producer, Giorgos, together with the host broadcaster ERT, announced during a TV show in ERT1 that the hosts will be Andreas Georgiou and Eleni Vaitsou, two famous actors.
National host broadcaster
During an initial meeting between the host broadcaster ERT and the EBU in late July 2015, the representatives of the core organising team were selected. Giorgos Tzikas, who is the Head of the Greek delegation, was announced as the executive producer.
