Eurovision Fan Contest - July 2015
Eurovision Fan Contest - July 2015 was the 15th edition of EFC that was held in Leeds, England, following the victory of Ellie Goulding in Spring 2015 with the song "Love Me Like You Do". It was the first time England hosted the contest. The two semi-finals were held in 12 and 19 July, and the Grand Final in 26 July 2015. The three shows were hosted by the previous winner, Ellie Goulding and Theo James.
Forty-seven countries confirmed their participation, with Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, South Korea, Trinidad and Tobago and Ukraine returning. British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Hungary, Japan, San Marino, Switzerland, US Virgin Islands and Uzbekistan withdrew from this edition.
Location
On June 3, it was confirmed that the city that would host the July edition would be Leeds, in England. Once again, no bidding phase was held.
Format
The competition will consist of two semi-finals and a final, a format which has been in use since the first edition in July. The ten countries with the highest scores in each semi-final will qualify to the final where they will join the host nation England. The consition of the Big Five will be changed and will be based again on the most successful countries. Semi-Final Allocation Draw
The draw that will determine the semi-final allocation will be held on 5 July 2015. The semi-finalists will be divided into seven pots.

On 29 May 2015, the slogan for the July 2015 Contest was revealed to be "You Are Unstoppable". The theme utilises an abstract planet and it symbolizes the difficulties that all the people face
every day which are continuous, whilst the trial all the people make to get out of these difficulties, something that makes them unstoppable.
Presenters
On June 3, the executive producer, Viktoras, together with the host broadcaster BBC, announced during a TV show in MTV that the hosts will be Ellie Goulding, winner of Ireland in August 2013 and
of England in Spring 2015 and Theo James.
National host broadcaster
During an initial meeting between the host broadcaster BBC and the EBU in late May 2015, the representatives of the core organising team were selected. ViktorasViGo, who is the Head of the English delegation, was announced as the executive producer.

- Samantha Jade has previously participated in EFC in August 2013 for Åland
Islands, in Spring 2014 for Fiji, and in July 2014 for
Australia.
- Taylor Swift has previously participated in Winter 2015 for Italy.
- Elina Born has previously participated for Estonia in Spring 2014.
- Bebe Rexha has previously participated for Israel, together with Cash Cash, in April 2014.
- Helena Paparizou has won the contest with Sweden in Spring 2014 and in September 2014 has participated for Greece in Winter 2015.
- Tori Kelly has previously participated for Jamaica in Autumn 2014.
- Krewella have previously participated for Pakistan in Spring 2015.
- Dami Im has previously participated for South Korea and Australia in Spring 2014 and September 2014 respectively.

Cyprus - Because of the bad results in the last 3 editions, the Cypriot broadcaster RIK decided to withdraw so as to
take time and find a participant that can bring back a good result.

Denmark - After a request of the Danish people on the Danish broadcaster DR, Denmark decided to withdraw because of
the bad results in the last edition. They will return when they have prepared an artist to bring them back in their glory days. On June 2, 2015 they announced Sara Sukurani as their hope for
the victory and therefore they returned to the contest.

San Marino - The Sanmarinese broadcaster, SMRTV,
confirmed on 28 June 2015 that they won't take part in Leeds.

Switzerland - The Swiss broadcaster has decided
the withdrawal of Switzerland for unknown reasons.
